In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. I remember when i was 11 years old, on holiday for Christmas in the highlands staying in a cottage with my family. My mum and dad bought me a CD with Grace Kelly by Mika, I sang it all day along with the CD. That's when I realised I loved performing. Bombay Bicycle Club, I Had the Blues But I Shook Them Loose Everything Everything, Get to Heaven Kings of Convenience, Peace Or Love IHTBBISTL is so definitive of its genre, and helped shape the sound of indie rock for years to come. Get to heaven is the most creative and experimental album whilst remaining true to pop and indie. peace or love is the most soothing beautiful album. It's still a work in progress but it feels like a significant step. It's the song I've written that I can sit and listen to and enjoy it without thinking too much about where it came from
